Where should one go to use a toilet back then?
The toilets back then was basically a box with a seat on top. You had to empty the box eventually.

What is the difference in the three houses toilet facilities?
In the richer houses the toilet was inside the house beside their bed. In the houses where the poor people lived, they usually had an outhouse, which had a toilet.

Task 2

How many of the houses in the village have half-timbering?
Around 21 houses in the Funen Village have half-timbering.

Task 3

How did they get water back then?
The women had a device, which had 2 buckets on each end of a pole. The women took the middle of the pole on their neck, and carried the water from the well/lake or pump to the house.

Where would they get water if there were neither a pump nor a well?
If there wasn't neither a fond or a well, the women would go to the nearest lake and get water from there.

Task 4

What was the energy from the three mills used for?
The energy which was created from the mills, was used to grain milling.

Which kind of power kept the three different mills running?
The Maderup mill: This mill was a windmill.
The Davende mill: This mill used water to create power - a watermill.
The Skamby Torup mill: This mill used horses as engine.

Task 5

Which handicraft was being carried out by the man who lived in the Vigerslevhus?
The man mastered the handicraft shoe-making.

Task 6

How many students did a classroom in the Eskær skole have room for?
A typical classroom in the Eskær Skole could have around 46 students.

How was the classroom heated?
The classroom was heated by oven.

Task 7

How many people in sitting around the table in the Fjeldstedgård?
There is 3 people seated around the table.

Who do not have places to sit at the table - and why?
The maids of the house are not sitting around the table. Their job was to service the owners of the house, and they would ofcourse not eat at either the same table or at the same time.

What are they eating?
The people seated around the table are eating porridge and bread, they're apparently not drinking anything.
